Antimicrobial Protection
Lucite® with Microban® antimicrobial product protection inhibits the growth of bacteria that cause stains and odors by intercepting bacteria at the bath surface. It works to maintain a consistently lower bio-burden than would be expected on acrylic-surfaced baths without Microban antimicrobial protection.
Microban antimicrobial protection has been molecularly built into the Lucite® cast acrylic surface, in a similar way to the bath’s color. That makes it a durable part of the bath, both inside and at the surface that won’t wash off or wear away.
